The Cargolog® device is powered by a 1.5V Primary Alkaline size C (LR14) battery, employing Manganese Dioxide (Zn/MnO2) chemistry.

The alkaline battery serves as the power source for operating the data logger. Its functionality is limited by the operating temperature range of -18°C to 50°C, as the battery’s performance is optimized within this specific temperature bracket. Additionally, for storage purposes, it is recommended to keep the battery within a temperature range of +5°C to +30°C (+41°F to +86°F) to ensure its effectiveness and longevity.
