Download and install the latest version of Cargolog® PC Software for Windows. Compatible with Cargolog 2nd Gen.

User guide

Read the User Manual carefully before using the Cargolog Impact Recorder System. This will protect you personally and avoid damage to the unit.

  • Copying or reproducing this User’s Manual in part or whole without prior authorization is strictly prohibited.
  • With prior notice, you may only revise specifications, design, or any other information in this manual.
  • To the best of our knowledge, this User’s Manual is accurate when printing, but should you encounter any omissions or inaccuracies, please get in touch with your dealer or our Customer Support.
  • Please handle this carefully, as the excessive direct impact may damage this product.
  • In no event will Mobitron be liable for any direct or indirect damages incurred by the results of using this product.
  • This product is designed and manufactured to ensure high reliability. However, an absolute operation guarantee is not possible. Using multiple products is recommended if this product use is intended to provide proof of compensation for damages or insurance claims of high value.
  • Mobitron will not be liable for any damages incurred if the user does not use the product correctly, or has handled it in any way other than described herein, or has tampered with or changed it in any way, or if it has been repaired or altered in any way by a third party.
  • This product is designed to be used, attached, and packaged with the object to be measured.
  • The Data Logger System is a universal data logger for measuring and recording different physical measurement parameters and may not be used for safety-related applications,
  • Do not use the Data Logger in areas affected by acid, alkaline, organic solvents, corrosive gases, etc.
  • This product is not intended for monitors and equipment relevant to human and animal lives.
  • The Data Logger must never be opened or modified. Mobitron AB cannot be held liable for damage resulting from use other than that for which the unit is intended or from improper operation.
  • If the product has been submerged in water, punctured, or seriously damaged, do not use it before returning it to the Mobitron AB.
  • Before using the data logger, check the unit and all cables for visible signs of damage, and never operate a damaged data logger.
  • Never force the connector into a port; check for the obstruction, make sure that the connector matches the port and that you have positioned the connector correctly to the port,
  •  If the connector and port do not join reasonably, they probably do not match and should not be used.
  • You must dispose of Mobitron’s products according to relevant laws and regulations. Mobitron’s products contain electronic components and lithium batteries, so they must be disposed of separately from household waste.
  • An alkaline or lithium metal battery can operate the Cargolog system; for information on your product’s specification, please get in touch with Mobiton before using any battery.
  • Never use a data logger with a leaking battery. Should a battery leak be detected, ensure that the electrolyte does not come into contact with the skin, the eyes, or the mouth. Should this occur, thoroughly rinse the affected area with water for at least 15 minutes. Consult a doctor.
  • Do not recharge, short circuit, crush, disassemble, heat above 100°C (212 °F), incinerate, or expose contents to water.

2nd Gen

LED functions

The LEDs on the Cargolog® device – 2nd Gen have several sequential modes to report different situations. Depending on how the LEDs light up when you press the button, you will know the mode of the Cargolog® device. Press the button with your finger, a pen, or a similar object.
