LED functions

The LEDs on the Cargolog® device, 2nd Gen have several sequential modes to report different situations. Depending on how the LEDs light up when you press the button, you will know the mode of the Cargolog® device. Press the button with your finger, a pen, or a similar object.

LED modes

Mode:

Initiating the recording period

To start the recording for the Cargolog® device with pre-configured settings on the 2nd Gen device, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the button for 15-20 seconds (keep the button pressed throughout the entire sequence).
  2. All LEDs will illuminate and then turn off.
  3. The LEDs will sequentially light up one at a time from right to left, indicating the start of the recording (Angle, Temp, Rh, Acc).
  4. Release the button after the sequence completes to initiate the measurement period.

Mode A:

Not programmed

If the Cargolog® device has not been programmed. To check its status:

  1. Press the button, and observe all LEDs lighting up for 3-4 seconds.
  2. After releasing the button, note that all four LEDs will blink ten times within 3-4 seconds.

Please be aware that there may be a brief delay between releasing the button and the commencement of the LED blinking sequence.

Mode B:

Programmed but not active

The Cargolog® device is programmed but not started.

  1. While the button is pressed, all LEDs on the Cargolog® device illuminate for 3-4 seconds.
  2. Upon releasing the button, all LEDs go out.

The Cargolog® device has been programmed but is not actively recording or monitoring impacts. It remains in a standby or inactive mode. This separation between programming and activation allows users to set up the device with specific parameters before putting it into active use.

Mode C:

Active with no exceeded alarm limits

The Cargolog® device is active and operational, with a recording exceeding predefined alarm limits. To verify its status:

  1. Press the button, and observe all LEDs lighting up for 3-4 seconds while the button is held.
  2. Release the button to trigger two sequential sequences: the LEDs representing angle, temperature, and humidity illuminate one at a time from right to left.

This functionality is available with Firmware version ≥2.8.1.0. Check the firmware by connecting to the software. For more information, see the manual.

Mode D:

Active with exceeding alarm limits

The Cargolog® device is active and operational, with a recording exceeding predefined alarm limits. To verify its status:

  1. Press the button, and observe all LEDs lighting up for 3-4 seconds while the button is held.
  2. Release the button to trigger two sequential sequences: the LEDs representing angle, temperature, and humidity illuminate one at a time from right to left.
  3. The LED corresponding to the sampling channel that exceeded the alarm limit will stay lit for 5 seconds.

This functionality is available with Firmware version ≥2.8.1.0. Check the firmware by connecting to the software. For more information, see the manual.

Mode E:

Measuring cycle ended with no exceeded alarm limit

The measurement cycle has concluded, and sampling has ended, with no exceeding alarm limits. Check the status as follows:

  1. Press the button, and all LEDs illuminate for 3-4 seconds.
  2. The acceleration LED blinks for 4-5 seconds after releasing the button.

Mode F:

Measuring cycle ended with exceeded alarm limits

The measurement cycle has concluded, and sampling has ended, with a recording of exceeding predefined alarm limits. Verify the status as follows:

  1. Press the button, and all LEDs illuminate for 3-4 seconds.
  2. Upon releasing the button, the LED corresponding to the measuring channel that exceeded the alarm limit will stay lit for 5 seconds.
  3. The acceleration LED blinks for 4-5 seconds.
