The LEDs on the Impact & Shock Recorder have several sequential modes to report different situations. Depending on how the LEDs light up when you press the button, you will know the mode of the Cargolog Impact & Shock Recorder. Press the button with your finger, a pen, or a similar object.

Mode: Activation

Activate the Impact Recorder with pre-loaded parameters

Press and hold the button for 15-20 seconds.
(Keep pressed throughout the sequence).
• All LEDs lights up and goes out,
• The LEDs light up, one at a time, from right to left (Angle, Temp, Rh, Acc).
Release the button, and the measurement period is activated.

Mode A: Not programmed

The Impact Recorder is not programmed.

Press the button, and all LEDs light up for 3-4 seconds.
Release the button, and all four LEDs blink ten times for 3-4 seconds.

Note! It may take a couple of seconds between releasing the button and the LEDs’ blinking.

Mode B: Programmed and not activated

The Impact Recorder is programmed but not activated.

All LED’s light up while the button is pressed for 3-4 seconds.
When the button is released, and all LEDs go out.

Mode C: Active with no exceeded alarm limits

The Impact Recorder is active and running | No record of exceeding limits

All LED’s light up while the button is pressed for 3-4 seconds.
When the button is released, the three LEDs (angle, temperature, and humidity) light up one at a time, from right to left, in two sequences.

Important: This mode is available for the Firmware ≥2.8.1.0

Mode D: Active with exceeded alarm limits

The Impact Recorder is active and running | One record of exceeding limits

All LED’s light up while the button is pressed for 3-4 seconds.
When the button is released, the three LEDs (angle, temperature, and humidity) light up one at a time, from right to left, in two sequences.
The LED for the sampling channel with an exceeded alarm limit will light up for 5 seconds

Mode E: Measuring cycle ended with no exceeded alarm limit

The measurement cycle has ended and stopped sampling | No record of exceeding limits

All LED’s light up while the button is pressed for 3-4 seconds.
When the button is released, the LED for acceleration blinks for 4-5 seconds

Mode F: Measuring cycle ended with exceeded alarm limits

The measurement cycle has ended and stopped sampling | One record of exceeding limits

All LED’s light up while the button is pressed for 3-4 seconds.
When the button is released, the LED for the measuring channel with an exceeded alarm limit will light up for 5 seconds.
The LED for acceleration blinks for 4-5 seconds.
